Browsing this website

The site is made of static pages. Its supplied application code does not include advertising pixels, analytics libraries, account registration or a remote form-submission service. Images, styles and scripts are requested from the same site.

Delivering pages necessarily involves network information such as an IP address and request details. Hosting infrastructure may process access and security logs, including timestamps, requested paths, browser information and error details, for delivery, reliability and abuse prevention. Do not assume that the absence of analytics means no technical processing occurs.

The local message tool

Information entered into the contact tool is used in your browser to create a plain-text draft. The tool does not submit the fields to a server or save them in website-controlled browser storage. Your browser may separately offer autofill or session restoration according to your own settings.

The Copy action writes the draft to your device’s clipboard after you request it. The Download action creates a text file on your device. Clipboard access, downloaded files and any device-level synchronization are controlled by your browser, operating system and settings. Clear or delete copies when no longer needed.

Email you choose to send

If you email [email protected], your email address, message content and ordinary email metadata become part of the correspondence. They are used to read, assess and respond to the request and, where relevant, investigate an editorial correction or protect against abuse. Do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for your question.

Email and hosting providers may process information as needed to provide their services. Their processing locations and safeguards depend on the services in use. We do not sell personal information or use your question to build an advertising profile.

Retention and legal basis

Correspondence is kept only as needed for the enquiry, relevant editorial records, security or applicable legal obligations. Actual retention can depend on the nature of a message and provider backup processes; this notice does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, responding to a voluntary enquiry and maintaining a secure, functional website generally rely on legitimate interests, subject to applicable rights. Processing may also be necessary to meet legal obligations. Optional processing requiring consent must have an appropriate consent mechanism.

Your choices and requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of personal information, object to processing, or complain to a supervisory authority. Send a request to [email protected]. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Rights can have lawful exceptions.
