What these technologies do

A cookie is a small value a website can ask a browser to retain and send with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can retain values for a website without sending them automatically with each request. Both can be used for useful preferences or for tracking, depending on how they are implemented.

The published workshop features

The workshop application supplied with these pages does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. It does not include analytics, advertising trackers, embedded video players or third-party fonts. Navigation, expandable answers and scroll effects do not require a stored identity.

Your browser may cache files, restore form values or retain page state as part of its own operation. These behaviors are separate from application-controlled tracking. A clipboard entry or downloaded message remains under your device’s controls and is not removed by closing the page.

Hosting and any separately provided controls

Hosting and security infrastructure can operate separately from the static workshop code. If a separately supplied privacy or cookie control is present on the deployed site, use that control and its accompanying information for the technologies it manages. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should not be activated without the consent required by applicable law.

Ordinary technical request information is explained on the Privacy page. Server logs are not the same thing as browser cookies.

Managing your browser

You can inspect or clear a website’s cookies and storage using your browser’s privacy settings. You can also restrict cookies globally or for individual sites. Clearing browser storage may remove preferences provided by separately deployed services, but the workshop text remains readable without a stored preference.

To remove a prepared message, clear the form and delete any downloaded copy or clipboard entry using your device’s controls. Your email provider governs copies you choose to send. For questions about this notice, email [email protected].
